Colloidal Silver Nebulizing Therapy refers to the inhalation of aerosolized particles of metallic silver suspended in liquid, delivered through a nebulizer device that converts the solution into a respirable mist with particle sizes typically ranging from 1–5 microns. During nebulization, the solution is drawn into a high-velocity airflow where it is sheared into microdroplets that can travel through the mouthpiece or mask and enter the upper and lower respiratory tract.
